On the 1st six week of indepent research, we did our stock markets and check them everyday. The steps we did for our stock market was :
- We chose which companies we want to invested in with 5000 dollars at total.
- We chose how many shares we want to buy but it must be the same everyday.
- We check the cost of the stocks and add them together for price of all of them.
- We check our stock everyday then subtract them for the previous day to see if we made profit or loss money.
The companies I invested in was Jc Penney, Coca Cola, Best Buy, Aeropostale, Abercrombie & Fitch, and RadioShack. I picked 50 shares for Jc Penney, 10 shares for Coca Cola, 20 shares for Best Buy, 100 shares for Aeropostale, 30 shares for Aberxcrombie & Fitch, and 1000 shares for Radioshack. I multiplied it by the cost and got 4644.1 dollars in total. I check my stocking everyday and record the data down to see if I won or lost. When I was already done recording for about 21 times, I went back to all my data and saw that for the most part I loss money. At the end I got the price of 4011.5 dollars from the start of 4644.1 dollars I knew I lost a lot of money. I subtracted it and found out that I lost 632.6 dollars in all. If I would to buy the exact stocking I would wait until its the right time and make a profit not lose money like I did right now.
